A Hawaii teen's book tells the stories of four Make-A-Wish kids
A Punahou senior has published a children's book featuring four Hawaii Make-A-Wish kids, a feel-good story for families and for the charity itself.
- Nick Hill Wong, an aspiring author, wrote "What Would You Wish For?" through his nonprofit Kiki Stories.
- The nonprofit focuses on mixed-race and multicultural kids, and any child who feels they don't fit in.
- The four kids featured got their own book signing, where they were treated like celebrities.
- Local illustrator Remy Jose drew the pages, putting Hawaii and a range of kids into the artwork.
- Half the money raised goes to Make-A-Wish Hawaii to fund more wishes.
Outlook: The book is on sale now, and it is the second one from a teen author who plans to keep writing.
