Taiwan reported another day of Chinese naval and coast guard activity around the island, a routine but steady pressure that keeps tensions high.

• Five Chinese navy ships and three government vessels were tracked around Taiwan over a 24-hour period.
• No Chinese military aircraft were detected this time, unlike most recent days.
• Taiwan's military responded with its own ships, planes, and land-based missile systems on watch.
• These daily tallies have become a normal part of life for Taiwan, showing how constant the pressure from China now is.

Outlook: Expect this near-daily activity to continue, with occasional spikes around political events or arms deals.
