A charity casino night is coming to Waikiki next month, good news for Special Olympics Hawaii and anyone looking for a night out.

• The Halloween-themed event, Ghouls and Gambling, runs the evening of October 29 at the Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa.
• Guests can play casino games, eat and drink, bid in a silent auction, and enter prize drawings.
• Proceeds go to Special Olympics Hawaii, which relies on this kind of fundraising.
• The gambling is legal and run for charity, not for profit.

Outlook: Expect ticket details and auction items to be announced as the October date gets closer.
