Hawaiian music group ʻŌlauniu, winners at the 2026 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, took the stage for a local concert series — a lift for Hawaiian-language music and the island arts scene.

• ʻŌlauniu performed a set of traditional Hawaiian songs, including classic Waikīkī-themed standards.
• The group is coming off wins at the 2026 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, Hawaii's top music honors.
• The Board of Water Supply sponsors the conservation concert series, tying live music to a water-saving message.
• The performance aired as part of a midweek Hawaiian culture segment on local television.

Outlook: Expect more island artists to feature in the series as the awards spotlight keeps Hawaiian-language music in front of local audiences.
