The Young at Heart Expo returns to the Blaisdell
Honolulu's biggest lifestyle event is back this weekend with free admission, giveaways, and a new sports section — good news for anyone looking for something to do.
- The seventh annual Young at Heart Expo runs Friday and Saturday at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- More than 130 booths cover health care, lifestyle, and shopping, with flu shots and vaccinations available on site.
- Saturday brings a celebrity pet fashion show with over 50 people walking the runway, plus Jordan Segundo flying in to host and perform.
- A new University of Hawaii sports area features volleyball, water polo, and baseball athletes, autographs, cornhole, and game ticket giveaways.
- The first 250 visitors each day get a Team Hawaii wristband, and one booth is raffling off a $7,500 travel gift certificate.
Outlook: Expect big crowds both days, with the sports area and pet fashion show likely the main draws.
