Halloween pop-up night market at Kaiser High School to support Project Grad
East Oahu families get a Halloween night market at Kaiser High School on October 24, with the money going back to students.
- The school's weekly food market runs every Tuesday afternoon in the Kaiser High parking lot, rain or shine.
- Money raised covers school clubs, prom dresses for families who can't afford them, and Project Grad through an angel fund.
- The October 24 night market runs 4 to 8 p.m. and brings back the regular vendors.
- Food includes Japanese-Italian fusion udon, seared lobster tail with yuzu butter and beef fat rice, and pressed takoyaki chips.
- Local crafts are in the mix too, including Hawaii-inspired crochet flowers and musubi keychains.
Outlook: Organizers are hoping for a big community turnout at the Halloween market, with the weekly Tuesday market continuing either way.
