A new family Halloween event is coming to the Honolulu Zoo later this month, with trick-or-treating, games, and local beer.

• The Zoological Society is hosting Boos & Brews on the zoo's Great Lawn on Saturday, October 24, from 5 to 9 p.m.
• The evening includes a trunk-or-treat, a costume contest, games, music, and food.
• Four local breweries will pour beer for the adults.
• Tickets run $20 for adults and $10 for kids.

Outlook: Expect a strong turnout for the zoo's after-dark Halloween night, with ticket demand likely to build as October 24 approaches.
