A local Hawaii lifestyle show closes out its September 29 broadcast with birthday greetings and a look ahead to its next episode — light, feel-good programming with no hard news angle.

• The show wraps by thanking guests and viewers and sending happy birthday wishes to people celebrating today.
• Next episode features solo artist AJ Kolanui, described as having deep musical roots and strong family ties.
• That appearance is part of a conservation concert series run with the Honolulu Board of Water Supply.
• The tie to water conservation gives the music segment a public-service hook beyond entertainment.

Outlook: The AJ Kolanui conservation concert segment airs on the next episode.
